Gjilan, April 23 – Eye of the Vision organizations in partnership with Save the Children Kosovo and in coordination with the responsible institutional officials in the municipality of Gjilan are carrying out the training “Advocacy and involvement of children in decision-making in increasing institutional responsibility and accountability”. The training aims to increase the capacities and empower groups of children in the field of advocacy and their involvement in decision-making where their best interest is affected, thus increasing the cooperation, responsibility and transparency of the institutions responsible for the protection and the rights of the child in the municipality against the Municipal Children’s Assembly and the ROR group.

Such trainings will also be held in the other seven municipalities with children’s groups, such as the Municipal Assemblies of children and the representatives of the ROR children’s group in Pejë, Klinë, Prishtina,

These trainings are held within the framework of the thematic program for the protection and rights of the child “Our Obligation to the Future – Protection of Children and Governance of Children’s Rights” for the Strengthening of Civil Society by the Eye of Vision Organizations in partnership with Save the Children Kosovo /o funded by the Swedish Agency for International Cooperation and Development – Sida.
